Responsibilities:
Drive private label assortment strategy and profitability (top line and gross margin)
Work closely with the category managers to deliver the best possible products, focusing on filling compelling business and assortment needs, delivering differentiated products, and delighting our customers
Maintain a strong understanding of the ModCloth customer, our market, and the effects of market changes
Flawlessly execute in-house product development and production, both contract and vertical
Manage product development, the production teams and technical design
Build upon our strategic vendor base to support growth, maximize responsiveness, and optimally match vendor capabilities with ModCloth's needs
Execute lean supply chain strategies anddevelop lean fabric management practices
Create visibility around performance against private label targets: styles in development, production, etc
Cross-departmental collaboration

Requirements:
6+ years of product development, buying or merchandising in women's apparel
3+ years of private label management experience
3+ years of experience building and managing successful teams
Bachelor's degree
Incredible interpersonal skills
Seasoned and savvy negotiation prowess with outstanding vendor management skills
Strong development focus and enthusiasm for mentoring team members
Proven track record of expansion into new categories, driving revenue, and performing in a high-growth environment
Demonstrated P&L experience with top-notch quantitative and analytical skills
In and out knowledge of the women's apparel business and a keen eye for emerging trends
Eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
